I got to go on a walk with Staci and Bridger yesterday! It was just a short jaunt around the block by their house. I am so happy Stac called and asked me to go with her. Bridger is as cute as ever! He doesn't look as big in real life as he does in his recent pictures. He can only be on his oxygen tank for about an hour at a time so I was really lucky to be able to get outside with them and enjoy the sunshine and good conversation.
The kids (Tre and Belle) got to say hi to him from the car window. This was their first time to see him in person. Tre was really excited, Belle not so much. Tre even told Staci that sometimes he forgets to pray nightly for Bridger, but she told him that it was okay. Tre hasn't taken off his "Bridger's Heart Heroes" bracelet since he got it. He says he won't take it off until Bridger "gets all better and they can play cars together".
Thanks Staci for calling me. I'll go walking with you anytime.

aww...I'm glad you were able to go. I'm sure it is hard for Staci to be so isolated. It was probably as fun for her as it was for you! I'm jealous.
What a cute story. I love that tre admitted to forgetting him in his prayers some nights. That is so cute. I love listening to kids prayers.
