Aahh, family reunions! Gotta love em' you know? Here is how it goes. First you must find a park big enough to hold all 3,594 of us. Then you make food assignments so there is enough food to feed an army, bring a couple outdoor games, print off puzzles and treasure hunts for the kids to play, hire a square dancing caller and have country dancing, have Grandma to tell stories of when she was a little girl (this part is mandatory that you be there), and don't forget the name tags!
I had fun of course. I love getting together with my crazy family and talking. Although I tend to stick to my favorites. Emily, Lori, Lisa, Kara, Steph, Jeff, and Chris. I like Uncle Tom too. He's always good for a laugh. Tom asked Kara what she was drinking after she finished "The Boot Scoot and Boogie" line dance. She said it was water....he had to smell it too make sure. You'd probably have to be there and know them to think it was funny, but it was.
So, Belle fell out of a tree, got wet in the canal then rolled through the dirt and sand, ate 5 popsicles, got to feed the goats and a cow, and became a true cowgirl on the dance floor. Tre played ladder ball with the boys, was too old for the kid dancing and story telling, milked a cow, decided he wasn't too old to line dance, and got to climb on the roof of the pavilion to retrieve Uncle Tom's hat.
Here are some photos of our fun:
